The new Building Code of Australia(BCA)standard, Part F of the BCA document for floor sound impact noise between apartments, requires that the sound impact rating(L,nT,w+C1) must not be more than 62.

Independent testing shows that Armstrong Elite Hardwood Collection exceeds the standard with a rating of 52.

This is in accordance with the applicable standards,
ISO 140-7:1998 and ISO 717-2:1996.Inessence,the lower the L,nT,w+C1 rating, the better the performance.
