is inevitably going to be complex and, in many areas, frustratingly inconclusive.
This is because the "Assessment Industry", for want of a better collective description, is fragmented and comes at the issues
from a wide variety of philosophical points of view and measurement criteria.
Armstrong environmental impact statement is Armstrong Australia's attempt to provide a lifecycle approach to the presentation
of our environmental credentials. We have taken this approach because we believe that for too long the assessment of a product's
environmental credentials have focuessed almost exclusively on the raw materials used.
