Armstrong has fifteen ceiling products manufactured in 7 plants around the world certified as “environmentally preferable” by Good Environmental Choice Australia.

The Environmental Choice Australia Label is the leading LCA based ecolabelling program in Australia, with verification in accordance to ISO 14 024 – International Standard for Third Party Environmental Labelling and Declaration.

Following an independent audit to the GECA Furniture & Fittings Standard, fifteen ceiling products from Armstrong World Industries have been awarded the Environmental Choice Australia label.

Environmental Choice Australia label and Green Star

The Green Building Council of Australia recognises the quality of the GECA eco-labelling
program, which addresses a product’s life-cycle impact on the environment and includes an
independent verification process.
The Green Star Healthcare Pilot Tool awards 100% points for GECA certified materials
under the MAT-10 Credit (Ceilings, Walls & Partitions)
Armstrong’s GECA licenced products will satisfy the Green Star compliance criteria.
