Ultima Acoustical Ceiling System at AMP's Collins Place

"Collins Place", the iconic 1970's twin office tower located in Melbourne, has recently undergone the first stage of refurbishment to maintain its "A-Grade" status. The refurbishment included replacing the outdated "fissured type" ceiling with Armstrong RH99 Ultima acoustical ceiling panels installed on Armstrong PeakForm™ T-Bar ceiling suspension grid. Both panel and grid were custom produced to integrate with the original 2'4" building module.

The Ultima ceiling combines superior acoustical performance and high light reflectance with the enhanced toughness of the durabrite™ smooth scrim face. These features contribute to the strong ESD performance of Ultima, which also boasts a recycled content of up to 70%.  In addition, the PeakForm grid is made from 25% recycled content and is produced from roll-formed steel, a comparatively low embodied energy product. Armstrong ceiling systems are covered by a 15 year manufacturers warranty
